HOW TO STAY CONSISTENT WITH YOUR WORKOUTS?

Today was one of those days when I was lacking motivation to workout… Yes it does happen to me too! I ended up doing a workout with a client, and both she and I were very happy to get the extra motivation boost from training together! It got me thinking what are my ways of coping with these zero motivation days... and I thought to share this with you to help you stay consistent and to know that you are not alone! 🤔💭
1️⃣ HAVE A PLAN when you go workout… don’t just improvise on the spot. Don’t get me wrong, I do modify my routine depending on my energy level, but I mean don’t go totally clueless to the gym not knowing what you are going to do, or for how long. Commit to a certain amount of time and plan a well structured workout accordingly! If you don’t know where to start get a personal trainer to help you out to structure one for you. Or Get an online plan to have total freedom over your time.

2️⃣ FIND A WORKOUT BUDDY… select a “serious” 😅 friend that will help you stay committed and can help each other in times of motivation crisis! As simple as that!
3️⃣ SET A GOAL! Climb a mountain, participate in a race, do a handstand, whatever your goal is it will help you stick to it! Challenge yourself to get better, stronger. Sometimes it is all it takes. Then, keep track of your progress! And once you have reached your goal!? Treat yourself to something you love and set a new goal of course 👍🏼❤️🤩
4️⃣ MIX IT UP. Many people simply get bored, so change it up! Do some yoga, hiit, hiking, lift weights, try a spin class, go surf! MOVE! The body is so adaptable if you always do the same routine you end up getting stuck on a plateau and that can feel very demotivating…
5️⃣ MAKE IT FUN! Put some music, dance, listen to a podcast, workout in a place you love, at home, in a gym, outside… 👯♀️🎉❤️💕 GOOD VIBES ONLY!
Remember motivation comes and goes,
but the day you less want it is the day you most need it… 🧘🏻♀️🧘🏻♀️🧘🏻♀️
